Start by counting calories.
Calories are easily gained in a single meal. So imagine how many calories you get in the three meals you eat daily? Plus, those delicious snacks you consume in between meals. Unless you do something to burn it immediately, you have yourself a problem.

However, as much as the calories are the culprit in your weight predicament, these should not be totally eliminated. Calorie is an important factor that supports your metabolism. When it goes too low, your metabolism slows down which is likely to hinder your weight loss.

Get involved in some physical fitness.
There are no weight loss programs that will advise you not to exercise. Enhancing your metabolism at this point is an important aspect to reduce fats and exercise will aid you in achieving it. Take note that you need not do a very strict physical fitness program. Walking or jogging at least three times a week will do you a lot of good.

Regularly drink lots of water.
When you are dieting, it is important to keep your body hydrated. Plus, a glass of water prior to eating will help control your appetite. And in between meals, you will feel less hungry as you fill your stomach with water. Make the effort to consume 6 to 8 glasses of water daily.

Eat as healthily as you can.
Yes, you read it right. Do not starve yourself. Avoid feeling deprived of the wonderful feeling of eating good food. You can actually look good, feel great and lose weight while eating healthily. How? Eat a balanced diet on a minimum level, which means eat in smaller proportions. Eat less red meat. Consume more fish, Chicken, fresh fruits and vegetables.
