Weight loss during holidays
A holiday is the time when a person is in a mood to relax and just enjoy. Many times outcome of this is that people tend to gain more weight. The reason for this is that when people are relaxed and enjoying holidays, they are not conscious about what and how much they eat. If one learns to control weight gain during the holidays then this can surely lead to healthy body. The basic idea behind the weight gain during holidays depends upon two factors. The first one is the level of hunger and the second is the level of their activity. If there is control on these two things i.e. eating is controlled and the level of activity is more than the perfect and desired shape of the body can be achieved and this weight loss can be maintained for a long period of time. Therefore the key is to eat less and exercise more. This sounds very simple but its real life implementation is very difficult.
Remember that small amount of weight gain is never lost or it requires lot of effort to shed that extra layer of fat. Therefore it is sensible enough to think before you eat because adding up of layers of fats lands up into obesity. Be sensible enough to follow some tips to avoid weight gain in holidays:
The first thing which one should stick to is to stay active. This is the key to prevent weight gain. Follow an active routine and more importantly stick to it. It may be difficult to follow it in the relaxed mood of holidays but a little effort on your part can prove wonders. Going in for shopping and walking around the mall will prove a very good exercise for you. Try to keep on moving and this will compensate for the exercise you are missing at your gym. In order to stay healthy and fit eat right but this may be very difficult to following holidays. Therefore the best option is to carry some healthy food stuff like veggies and salad dressings which will compensate for the nutritious food. Try to control the food you eat. Don’t get tempted by those fattening dishes. Wear tight and fitted clothes. This will give you a feeling of being full faster. Eat in small proportions. Try to taste and enjoy the food instead of gulping the large amounts.
These tips and suggestions can surely prove to be a great help to keep your weight under control during the holidays.
