Water–The New Drink

We have been told that drinking 8 glasses of water a day will keep the doctor away so to speak. It helps aid in weight loss, keeps your skin glowing and makes your hair shine. You can’t moisturize form the inside out but it does help to put moisture in your skin.

You want to make sure that you put lotion on right after you get out of the shower. This helps to lock in the moisture that is in your skin from drinking all of that water. Even thought it does help it can’t work alone. Everything we do works together to improve our skin. If you are dry and itchy than applying that lotion will slow down the evaporation process and lock moisture in. This will also help to slow down the process of itching, peeling and cracking.

Your feet need special attention. They take much abuse from our tennis shoes and those heels we were to work everyday. Give them a massage treatment with lotion in order to prevent them from drying out and getting those little cracks between your toes. Not only are they painful but they also take away from the beauty of your feet.

There is no need to drink more than the 8 glasses of water a day. Drinking more will not help the moisture in your skin. Remember, we do not moisturize from the inside out but you do need to lock it in your skin. Invest in a soothing lotion that will not only help keep you hydrated but that will also sooth your senses and help you to relax.

Stress can cause you to break out and make the situation a whole lot worse. You will then find yourself not only battling the itchy’s but also trying to battle a whole other problem. Try to keep your issues at a minimum since we already have to battle the trials and tribulations of growing up and getting older. With that alone, we have a war to fight on a daily basis. Win the war and the battle by taking care of yourself.
