However—here’s the thumbs up — The British Heart Foundation states that in the year 1999, only 83 French died of heart diseases on an average of 100,000 males between the ages of 35 – 74 in comparison to a shocking 230 in United States of America.
An Irish doctor named Samuel Black gave birth to French Paradox in the year 1819. However, it gained wide popularity in the year 1991 in North America when a channel called 60 minutes broadcasted an article illustrating the rich qualities of diets including red wine — This became popular to such an extent that manufacturers of wine started labeling their goods as a healthy foods!
