Tone Up Your Triceps

Your triceps account for 2/3 of the size of your arms and in order to get the size that you are looking for you need to give them a proper workout. Triceps will give you a nice defined look to your overall arm shape.

As with any part of your body, the proper exercise routine and diet will trim, shape and pump up your body. You need to adjust your routine according to whether or not you need to bulk up or trim down. To get bigger triceps, do 10 to 14 sets with reps of 10-15.

Do close-grip bench press, triceps cable press downs and dips. As with working out any other part of your body, maintaining proper form is important for the exercise routine to have the proper affect. You also need to focus on contracting your muscles at the end of each repetition.

Your lifestyle such as your eating habits and whether or not you are active can play a role in your exercise routine. It is necessary to have a solid routine in every aspect of your lifestyle. This includes dietary as well as sleep. A goodnight’s sleep is also extremely important towards you getting the most out of your workout.

Variety is also very important to your workout. You need to change it up so that your workout does not become stagnant. Once that happens then you will stop seeing results and nothing will change. Remember to drink plenty of fluids also.

Shocking your muscles will help to ramp up your routine and give you visual improvements to all of your hard work. By shocking them, it makes them work harder with each work out so that muscle growth can continue with each and every routine.

So follow the rules by keeping proper form, eating a healthy and balanced diet, warm up and stretch before and after every routine and pay special attention to each muscle group. This will ensure a great workout every time and your results will be great. Don’t forget to drink plenty of fluids before, during and after every workout.
