Tone Flabby Arms

toneflabbyarmsA good routine to sculpt your arms fast is to do a cardio exercise three times a week and a weight training routine four times a week. Cardio exercise can help you burn calories if you need to lose weight.

Flabby arms are usually due to too much body fat. The arms are one of the last places fat accumulates because there are fewer fats cells there. Eventually if you are overweight your arms area will be flabby too.

Genetics has something to do with where your body fat will be stored. Take a look at your mother and father. If they have flabby arms you probably will too.

It is not common that someone will have fat arms but be thin everywhere else. The best way to lose flab is to lose all our body weight. If you include exercises your arms will tone up. It is difficult to spot reduce the fat on your arms.

You need to diet to reduce the fat on your body, including your arms. Choose a calorie reduced diet along with an exercise program to get your overall body fat down, including your arms. It is a difficult area to lose weight in your arms. You need to exercise to tone up the flab.

The best exercises for the arms include single joint movements. Basic bicep curls and triceps extensions are examples of single joint movements. With these exercises direct stress is place on the biceps and triceps. Basic bicep curls work the bicep.

Two thirds of the arm muscle is in the triceps so you many want to concentrate on that area. For a beginner choose a couple of different exercises and do 2 sets with 12 to 16 reps.

Extensions and kickbacks cause you to straighten the arm engaging the triceps muscle. Variations include the regular kickback, bending forward and extending your arm back with weights. Kickback standing on one leg is another version or overhead triceps extensions will work that triceps.

Triceps presses and its variations tone the arm. Variations of this exercise include dumbbell presses, close grip bench press and barbell triceps presses. Triceps dips and pushups are also excellent arm toners. With weight training, aerobic exercise and the proper diet you will tone those arms in no time.
