Three Easy Steps to Weight Loss

steptoweightlossThere are three important steps you can take to ensure that your weight loss goals are successful. These will be discussed in the following paragraphs.

Write your goals

Write down what you want to achieve. The goals should be clear to you and to others. You should be able to say how much weight you want to lose; you should indicate the time it will take you to lose such an amount of weight; and you should be able to predict how it will feel to achieve your goal.

The time should not be vague; you should be able to indicate the date (deadline) to check for the results. Make whatever you write down, as much as possible, appealing to yourself.

Say your goals to yourself

Say the goals to yourselves. You can stand in front of a mirror while reading your goals. This will make it get into your subconscious. The subconscious controls the things we do, so getting your goals into the subconscious makes you want to achieve them.

Recall positive experiences

Recall all the positive experiences that you had when you were at your ideal weight. Write them down in simple keywords. Leave out the negative ones. Keep on writing until your whole mind is filled with the thought of the positive things you stand to enjoy if you should go back to your ideal weight again.

Relive the positive experiences

Relive those experiences by playing them in your mind like how you will want to replay your favorite movies. Imagine the colors, the smells, the sensations, the energy, etc. In your mind touch the objects in the scene you are playing. Get all those positive feelings once again.

Repeat this every morning when you wake up so that the movie is always in front of you whenever you are free as if it is filling the entire screen of your mind.

This might seem too simple to be true, but it works. This is because what you consistently think about becomes your reality, and you get whatever you focus on. Going through this will give you a new consciousness about the need to lose weight.
