The Secret of a Beautiful Skin
What is the most sensitive and most visible part of the human body? The answer is obviously the skin. It is made up layers of epithelial tissues which protects the muscles as well as the organs under them. Most people refer to the skin as the biggest organ of the body. A persons skin has a great effect on his image. It must therefore be properly cared for.
Caring for the skin could be done through the following.
Healthy eating and exercise
A great skin is the reflection of the care given to it even though it could also be a gift of nature. The first thing needed for a glowing skin is healthy eating, a good diet. You must eat a balanced diet if you desire great skin. What you eat reflects on your skin. In addition to this you must exercise enough. These will maintain the right tone of your skin.
Cleansing
You must make sure that your skin is clean and free from dirt. This is very essential in your resolve to have a glowing skin, and therefore must be part of your daily skincare routine. Using moisturizers is a good practice as moisturizers prevent dehydration when you expose you skin to the environment.
Protection from the sun
It is also important to protect your skin from the direct effects of the sun. Directly exposing yourself to the harsh rays of the sun can be very damaging to your skin. There is ultraviolet radiation in sunlight which causes permanent damage to the skin. Some of the effects are skin sag, loss of elasticity and formation of wrinkles. It is known that severe sunburn can cause cancer of the skin.
To protect yourself from the damaging effects of the sun, you must use sunscreen. Sunscreen prevents direct contact with the ultraviolet rays and also dirt and pollutants in the air. It again reduces dehydration. It is suggested that you apply sunscreen at least 10 minutes before you go out into the sun.
The efforts you put in caring for your skin will result in the glow you see on your face. It will never be a waste.
