The Key To Improving Metabolism

With all of the information there is about losing weight, the one thing that they all have in common is speeding up your metabolism. Everyone’s is different and we don’t all lose weight the same. Learning how your body gives you energy from the food that you eat is the way of Metabolic Typing.

The first part of this process is to find out how the protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and the minerals are taken by the blood and cells to get your pH level. The ideal level is 7.46. If your level is under this, your blood is to acidic. If your level is above this, it has to much alkaline.

By going to the doctor and having Metabolic Typing done, you will be able to find the ideal menu to help you lose weight. This is also great for being able to treat allergies, chronic pain, heart disease, diabetes and chronic fatigue just to give you some examples.

There are several things that go into this type of testing. Oxidative rate, blood, urine, saliva, pH and autonomic nervous system dominance are involved in the testing. Three other things that need to be tested as well are blood type, body type and Candida infection.

If you are wondering what your type is, there are signs that you can look for as a general assessment of your metabolic type.  For example, if you have broad shoulders, a full chest and good strength, you may have a fast metabolism. If you are pear-shaped, curvy, maybe you have a weak upper body and or you are small and slim, you could have a slow metabolism.

Other factors that are taken into consideration are likes and dislikes of heat and cold, whether or not you gag, your eating preferences and how you deal with stress and problems. The best way is to speak with your doctor to get the best ranking to find out if your speed is slow, medium or fast. Your physician will be able to better understand your body and its needs.
