Who doesn’t like a great cookout in the summertime? The grill is man’s best friend when the weather is nice and the smell of great food is calling you. The only problem is, we don’t always want to hit the gym afterwards and the idea of ruining the workout we just had can linger in the back of your mind.

There is a way to enjoy cooking on the grill and still eat healthy. You don’t have to eat a half a rack of ribs or anything else that is bad for you. Try eating some great tasting healthy veggies on the grill and you may be surprised at how great they taste.

Turn your grill into a rainbow of variety. Give it some color with every type of veggie that you can think of. You can put them on a skewer and give them some flavor with a marinade. Use garlic, onion, chives and pepper for season. You can even throw some soy sauce on them. Try to avoid using salt.

When putting your vegetables on the grill, you want them to grill. You can coat them will oil or even spray the grill with a grilling spray to keep them from sticking. If you decide that you would much rather put foil on the grill, don’t seal the veggies shut. They will end up steamed instead and loose there vitamins.

If you are wondering what to have for the main course, toss some tuna on the grill. Season it with some sesame seeds and pepper and sprinkle some oregano for good measure. For a juicy and tasty fish, cook it rare. This will also save the vitamins.

These and many other recipes can be found by looking on the internet. You can find a multitude of ideas for great cooking on the grill in the wonderful outdoors. Impress your family and friends with your superb cooking skills on the grill. They will be amazed at the fact they are not only eating the delicious meal that you have prepared but they are also eating very healthy.
