The Beverly Hills diet

Dieting has become a very important part in an individual’s lifestyle. Every other person in the world diets for some reason or the other. There are different types of dieting to cater to the needs of an individual.
Dieting can be done for many purposes. There are diets available for losing weight, gaining weight, and diet for people suffering from ailments like Diabetes and other health risks, diet for women to maintain good heath after they reach their 30’s etc. Each diet in its way is a unique one.
Dieting does not mean starving. Starving and dieting are two different words with a lot of difference in their meanings. Starving means making your body devoid of the essential nutrients and making your body weak, whereas dieting is a process wherein your body gets the required amount of calories that is needed for day to day activities.
Hence following a healthy diet can always be beneficial for your health. Among many diet, The Beverly Hills Diet is one of the diets that is used for instant weight loss.
This diet is not a very healthy diet, but can be preferred by people who are really on the overweight side just to shed few kilos instantly and later they can modify their diet to sustain their daily activities.
The diet mainly consists of an initiation phase of 35 days where you are supposed to be on a fruit diet. The fruits must be enzymatic fruit like watermelon, grapes, strawberries and pineapple. What you eat for the day must be either entire proteins or entirely carbohydrates. You cannot have a combination of both.
This diet mainly has only fruits days or only vegetables days. There are few days when you can have carbohydrates as a part of your diet.
The Beverly Hills diet is very low in calories and does not meet the daily requirements of the body. It is a very low protein diet and also deficient in many other essential nutrients. It is generally not recommended unless and until there is a dire need for an individual to lose weight. Even in case an individual is following this diet care must be taken that lot of physical and mental stress must not be taken by him since the body does become weak when being on the Beverly Hills diet.
