Strawberry Layer Cake

Cake is associated with celebration. Whether it’s your birthday, your wedding anniversary, promotion or mother’s or father’s day, cake is the necessary thing. Everyone prefers cutting a cake to share happiness with others. You can order the cake from any shop but your love which mixes with that cake if you make it at your home. The recipe of making a strawberry layer cake is mentioned below. You can try it and make the moments memorable.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
½ cup sugar
6 cups strawberries (sliced and hulled)
2 tsp lime juice (fresh)
½ tsp table salt
12 oz store bought angel food cake (cut into 1/4-inch slices)
4 cup vanilla yogurt (frozen and fat-free)

How to Make:
Take a saucepan.
Mix strawberries, lemon juice, salt and sugar thoroughly to make strawberry sauce.
Stir over the heat until the sugar melts.
Simmer the heat for 15 minutes.
Mash the berries in the pan with the help of masher or with a wooden spoon.
After it reaches to the room temperature, keep it in refrigerator for two days to cool down.
Spoon the frozen yogurt in a large bowl and mash it well until it becomes soft and spread able.
Line the bottom of a 9-inch round spring form pan with one third of the cake slices, cutting any slices to fit the shape of the pan.
Spread the frozen yogurt on the top slice.
Spread 2/3 of frozen strawberry sauce over the yogurt.
Place the remaining slices over it.
Wrap with plastic sheet and freeze for at least 6 hours.
Cut the slices in round, square or any of the desired shape.
Season with fresh strawberries.
