These research findings suggest the following diet habits are beneficial.

The most prominent recommendation is to increase the proportion of fruits and vegetables in the daily diet.

Recent health commission reports suggest that people across the globe have begun consuming numerous servings of fruits and vegetables throughout the day.

These foods are rich in essential vitamins, such as vitamin A and vitamin C, along with certain antioxidants and dietary fiber.

Including multiple servings of fruits and vegetables each day results in a reduction in various health problems.

The existing research also suggests that consumers must take extreme care in choosing between the different types of meat products available in the market.

Meat products low in fat are considered beneficial in reducing high levels of cholesterol.

Fish is also considered good for the cardiovascular system as it contains omega 3 fatty acids.

Low fat and non-fat milk are considered very healthy food products.  Each daily meal should contain cheese and low fat yogurt.

The research findings also suggest that certain oils are not always safe for our health and should not be included in our daily diet.

Cooking oils are generally produced from saturated animal based fats and are now considered dangerous to general health.

Poly-saturated and plant based fats such as soya and bean oil are recommended substitutes for better health options.

Other research indicates that excessively processed foods contain harmful ingredients, which remain stored in the body and results in blood pressure problems. Less processed grain products are recommended as a better diet option.

It is well established that a poor quality diet results in numerous health problems.

It is advised that individuals assess their daily needs and requirements based on their daily calorie need, age, sex and internal factors, and then select the best possible dietary supplements.  These choices will always be dependent on individual factors.
