Greg--I feel your pain. Im 30 years old, 6'1" and weigh 142lbs give or take a pound. I have been to a few different doctors and nutritionists to try and figure out whats going on and why I cant gain any weight. I have learned the a males metabolism peaks at 25-30 years of age, and that there really is not much to do about it. My current doctor just told me a couple days ago to use Breyers Ice Cream and whole milk and make about a 20oz milkshake every night about an hour before bed. Most of America would think this is crazy, since we are the most obese country in the world. I have not tried it yet, but I'm starting this over the weekend. I would just encourage to eat what you can comfortably fit in your stomach, and try to not become discouraged. There are just some of us out there that cant put on weight. As long as you feel okay and dont have dizziness and feel lethargic all the time, you should be okay. I have dealt with this for about 5 years now. I used to weigh about 155, but had a very harsh stomach flu and lost 12-14 pounds, and never got it back. Also, I have found at one point several years ago, that weight gainer shakes from GNC can help a little bit, but start out slowly, because the last thing you want is to consume too much and make yourself sick, which would cause you miss meals! Good luck and keep your head up!

I have an extemely high metabolism and was wondering if there is a way to slow it down. I have always been so tiny and it makes it so hard to find clothes to fit. I really need to find a way to slow it down, so maybe I can gain a little weight. If there is anyway to slow it down, PLEASE help me figure out how. Thank you so much....
