Simple Ways to Build Muscle Mass
The fastest way to gain muscle mass is through compound muscle building routines. These exercises work more muscles at one time. They also work more joints at a time. A workout routine, a proper diet, and proper rest will build muscle mass fast.
Some of the easy compound exercises include simple squats, push-ups, and pull-ups. These exercises use several muscles at once. A compound exercise program will also save you time. You will not have to stand around waiting to use gym equipment. Compound exercises make you stronger for daily activities you may do.
The best program would be to do compound exercises three days a week, aerobic activity four times a week and take one day off completely. Do not workout for more than 45 minutes at a time. Compound muscle building, builds muscle mass faster.
Bench presses and dead lifts are also compound exercises. More compound exercises include dumbbells rows, leg presses, lunges, dips, pull downs, and overhead presses. All of these exercises work multiple muscles.
There is an increase in anabolic hormones with compound exercises, more than with isolated exercises. This in part is what makes the muscle mass grow. Your muscle mass will not grow unless you include the proper diet and proper rest along with your workouts.
Bodybuilders eat six meals a day instead of three. They do eat more protein. Some builders divide their daily intake into 40 percent protein, 20 percent fat, and 40 percent carbohydrates.
Proteins should come from poultry, lean meat, eggs, and fish. Carbohydrates should come from fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Fats should be mono-saturated. The diet should be very low fat. These fats come from sunflower seeds, walnuts, olives, olive oil, flaxseed oil, and sunflower oil.
Builders should get eight hours of sleep a day if they can. Your body is building muscle during rest. It is an essential part of the program. Allow 24 hours between workouts.
These are the elements to a program to building muscle mass fast. Follow this program and you will get results. You will develop a lean muscular body that you have always desired.
