Shape Up Your Legs

Give your legs the perfect and desired shape. Just follow some of the following exercise patterns and see the magic work. One of the good things about these exercises is that they can be performed anytime and anywhere. So just get set and go for them.

The first exercise you can try out is by standing straight and then holding the handle of the door or chair. While pulling yourself up on the tiptoes lower yourself until you achieve a sitting position on your heels. Then just bounce on your heels four times.

Slowly come to the standing position and repeat it four times. Just concentrate on the pushing of the legs. Another exercise can be performed by holding the handle. Taking the leg furthest from the handle lift it out to the side and then pausing it in the three places (about 15 cm apart each time). Again repeat four times and swap sides. Don’t forget to concentrate on your posture while exercising.

You can follow shaping of legs exercise even when you are out walking. Take high skips while walking. This increases the heart rate and gives the legs a more strenuous work out. Try out bunny hops in a place where there is 20-30m of unobstructed grass. Bunny hops exercise gives arms a good work out along with shaping of your legs. Follow with the leg curl exercise, which just takes about 4- 6 seconds. For shaping the front of the thighs do the leg extension exercise. You can do this exercise as many times as you can.

You can also go for leg lifts. This exercise is also good for the inner and outer thigh muscles. Try out the lower leg stretches for healthy legs. Try the stretch twice on both the legs. Another exercise which helps to shape up the legs is the yoga downward pacing dog. Even yoga dancers pose can be very beneficial.

Don’t forget to warm up before the workout. Go for running, walking or riding a bike for at least 10 minutes and then get ready for the hard work.
