Stop ingesting empty calories

The many fizzy drinks we consume daily, such as sodas, whether diet or not, contain lots of empty calories that do us a lot of harm. If you cut down on such drinks and drink water instead, it will be much better for your health.

There is only one thing that will satisfy your thirst, and that is pure water; not the artificial quenching of sodas and drinks.

Say no to Aspartame

Low sugar diets are recommended for weight loss. That is why many diet products include an artificial sweetener called Aspartame.

However, Aspertame is not good for your health because it is a neurotoxin, meaning that it kills brain cells and makes you crave carbohydrates. So in the end, Aspartame makes you want to eat more than you used to.

Say no to fried food

Frying foods makes you fattier, which is not good for your weight loss goals. It is better for you to grill, bake or boil your food.

Eat Mustard

Things like mustard and horse radish sauce will heat up your body. This leads to an increase in metabolism, which means that you burn more calories than usual. Therefore it is recommended that you add mustard or horse radish sauce to your food.

Say no to junk food

It is easy to eat junk food because it is convenient and tempting. If you carry healthy snacks like fruits and nuts with you, you will not be tempted to eat junk food because you will have better alternatives.

Eat before shopping

Shopping on an empty stomach will make you yield to the temptation of eating junk food. So, before going shopping, make sure you have eaten.

Junk free the home

If you free your house of junk food, you will not be tempted by easily available junk food.  Even if you crave the junk food, getting out to buy it will be an extra step and keep you from eating it.

Eat breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Most people skip breakfast because they are busy. This will make you feel weak; you will want to boost your energy level by eating junk food. Make sure you eat breakfast to avoid this problem.
