Reduce Cellulite with Diet
Cellulite is fat that is stored in our fat cells. Although both men and woman develop cellulite, most men only seem to get it in their stomachs and under their jaws. Women seem to have pockets of cellulite all over. The key to getting rid of your cellulite is to tackle it as quickly as possible. As you get older, your metabolism slows and it becomes a lot harder to get rid of the pockets of fat.
The best way to get rid of cellulite is with a combination of a healthy diet, eliminating some vices, and exercise.
Get Rid of Your Vices
The first thing you’ll need to do when you are trying to get rid of cellulite is to restrict the amount of alcohol you drink. Gone are your teenage years when you could drink like a fish and not put on a pound. Now that your body chemistry has changed, the empty calories from alcohol will go to expanding those little pockets of fatty tissue. You should also plan on throwing away your cigarettes.
Toss the Junk Food
Now that you are older, you are probably going to have to make some pretty big changes to your diet. You will need to cut back on the baked goods and chocolate bars. Replace them with sweet-tasting fruits. Just making this simple change can cause your cellulite to start melting from your hips, boost your metabolism, and improve your immune and digestive system.
Cut the Beef
Reduce the amount of red meat that you are eating. Instead of meals where you would eat a nice steak, you should eat a piece of grilled fish or baked chicken. You don’t have to completely eliminate the red meat from your diet; just reduce it and try eating leaner cuts.
Eating eggs is an excellent way to get the protein you once got from the beef.
Watch What You Drink
Instead of drinking soft drinks that are full of sugar and preservatives, you should start drinking all-natural fruit juices. If you are someone who drinks large amounts of coffee laced with sugar, you should switch to tea and use honey to sweeten the drink.
Alter Your Dairy Intake
Start to modify your dairy products. Instead of drinking whole or two-percent milk, try to drink skim milk. Rather than eating cheese, switch to yogurt.
