Are you planning to be a vegetarian? You must be encountering with questions like whether you will get substitute nutrients from veggie food. Many wonder how to manage when you are out for dinner. First come out from the idea that, choosing vegetarianism means you have to struggle a lot to get food from outside. Rather, supermarkets are flooded with vegetarian foods. Likewise, all most all the restaurants are offering vegetarian dishes also. To be assured of this fact, just go and take a round around your nearby supermarkets and restaurants to see how vegetarian food is easily available.
Being a vegetarian, you need to be watchful about your diet. You have to be sure that your diet contains some significant nutrients like iron, zinc, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and calcium. Here, in the following, I will give you a list of food items from which you can obtain such nutrients.
For iron, you should rely upon some sea vegetables. Apart from them, broccoli, dry fruits, soybeans, cereals and pumpkin seeds are good source of iron. If you can add lemon, tomatoes along with this vegetable dishes, then they could absorb the iron better. For girls, iron is very important, as during the monthly menstruation bleeding, they lose iron.
The next important nutrient is calcium. The best resources of this nutrient are milk and yogurt. Apart from them, green leafy vegetables are another source of calcium.
For protein, you can rely upon soy milk, cereals, beans, peanut butter and tofu. For vegetarian, getting B12 vitamin from vegetarian food stuff is a bit difficult. So regularly include cereals in your breakfast.
