Physical Exercise Can Help You Quit Smoking
If you are a regular smoker then start doing regular exercise for 10-20 minutes daily. As a result of this your craving for cigarettes would decrease. A recent study by a university has come up with this finding. Though the researchers are yet to find out the real link between two things, but it seemed an interesting observation to me.
Under their study, scientists showed various pictures featuring cigarette to smokers who are undergoing physical exercise and their response was observed with the help of MRI scan. The behavior of their brain showed induced craving for cigarettes, whereas their craving for cigarettes was noticed to have increased, when they were shown the same picture, but that time they were not put under physical exercise training.
With this new finding, many have started speculating that due to physical exercise, the mood of a person changes positively as result of increase flow of dopamine. The more the flow of dopamine, the lesser the craving for cigarette would be.
Why I thought of talking this new finding here, because I wanted people, who are regular smokers should at least give a try to it. It does not ask you to spend money, nor demand you to consume any medicine to quit smoking. There is no side effect as well. You just have to inculcate the habit of taking a walk or jogging for 10-15 minutes. With time, you can prolong your exercise regime.
Doing regular exercise is not going to help you quit smoking rather; it will bring a change in your blood circulation positively, which eventually could upgrade your mood as well. It is not only necessary to do some kind of exercise, if you are fond of spots or cycling then, it could also serve the purpose. So, why to waste time, start working out and get the result.
