As one ages the need of nutritional food increases, this is because one’s immune system becomes weak and as such they tend to fall prey of many unknown diseases. Hence the requirement of nutritional diet increases and it prevents from falling sick.
Age above 55 or 70 years must take good foods that contain vitamin B6 and vitamin D and calcium. They should take more than usual intake than the below age. Don’t just live on simple foods, you require more than your younger counterparts. Healthy and wealthy should be the real motto of older generation. Eat well and stay fit.
Do not increase too much of oily food and avoid eating nuts and butter. They may sometime act as cholesterol friendly and may perhaps block the veins to pass blood to the rest of the body. This results heart failure. Due to heart stroke many old people die in every year. Depend more on balanced foods like more of fresh fruits and vegetables. However, you got to take required amount of oil that too from pure vegetable oil.
According to the Dietary Reference Intakes, women should be more careful and selective of nutritional foods. Do not play around with your health when you are ageing. Take proper care and eat what is being recommended by the dieticians if incase you are consulting. Do not just depend on same foods; take verities of vegetables and foods. This is sure to benefit from all the necessary vitamins, minerals, proteins, nutrition and minimum requirement of fat.
One must have the knowledge that old age people are more vulnerable to any kind of diseases and so they encounter many problems. This can be minimized if you learn the tricks to eat healthy and keep healthy by working out for a while daily.
