Nutritionist’s, dietician’s, even your mom tell you that you need to eat right for a healthy body. But, did they ever come out and tell you that certain nutrients are also good for your skin? Not only do you need to take care of the inside but taking care of the outside is just as important. Your skin needs a special diet so let’s have a look.

By now we all know that moisture is a key essential to soft healthy skin. The cells in our body all have a specific function and one of them is to let in the good and get rid of the bad. We need to intake a correct amount of fatty acids or omega-3’s to create healthy cells. Add a little salmon or some walnuts to your diet. Also, cooking with vegetable and flaxseed oils is a great way to help the cause.

Shedding to Smoothness
Everyone wants to be soft and touchable. The body needs an adequate supply of Vitamin A. Simply adding a cup of milk or maybe an egg to your daily diet is a plus. Milk is just not for strong bones and teeth but also healthy glowing skin. Meat is another great source as well as the carotenoids in fruits and veggies can be converted into Vitamin A by our body. This helps your body to shed those nasty dead cells and produce healthy ones leaving you with soft touchable skin.

Add plenty of apples, oranges and whole-grain cereals to your daily diet. The combination of Vitamin C and E together are WOW! Together they can aid in preventing puffiness and can even cut back on redness. You want your skin glow and these foods will put you on the right path.

Looking Younger No Matter What Your Age
As we climb the ladder of years, our skin goes through many changes. Take care of it now so that even your grand kids will think you are beautiful. Water containing fruits help with those blemishes and hold in moisture.

Flavonoids in dark chocolate, green tea or even a glass of wine can help improve circulation and help your skin to plump with elasticity. To hold the hands of time at bay have some turkey or a whole grain bagel. Don’t forget the strawberries and raspberries for dessert. They will keep you firm.
