Negative Calorie Effect Diet
People try out many types of diets to burn the extra layer of fats. One such diet pattern is the negative effect diet pattern. It is believed that some food stuffs create a negative calorie effect, as a result of which, you lose weight.
Though there is no scientific evidence to prove this point, the advocates of this diet believe that this particular diet helps us to burn the fats off the body.
If you eat a certain food stuff possessing a certain amount of calories, then a certain amount of energy is also required from your body to process the nutrients of the certain food stuff. Therefore, working on the negative calorie principle negative calorie food stuffs results in negative calorie deduction. This is why this diet insists on eating frequent but healthy meals. This ultimately increases the speed of the metabolism.
As this diet sounds more theoretical than practical, it has been widely criticized. Critics argue that there is no food stuff which possesses ‘negative’ calories. All the food stuff contains some value of calories in it. They also state that energy is required for both exercise and for recovering from exercise.
On the contrary, the advocates of this diet believe that this diet gives effective and desired results and it also helps to increase the metabolism of the body. In addition to it, this diet also encourages the consumption of the healthy food stuffs that are rich in vitamins and minerals, which speed up the production of enzymes and ultimately breaks down not only its own calories, but also the calories already presenting the body. Thus, the unwanted layer of fats is burnt. Therefore, this diet insists to plan meals in such a manner that maximum foodstuffs create negative calorie effect.
Some of the food stuffs which are included in this diet and which create negative calorie effect are asparagus, watermelon, pineapple, grapes and papaya.
