Natural Cures For Cough

Cough is a common disease facing by most of the people. Coughing is an action taken by the body to get rid of substances that are irritating the breathing passages. Cough is double problematic as it not only annoys the patient but even a near one also feels annoyment. A cough which accompanies the common cold, flu or a sinus infection is categorized as an acute cough and is lies for two- three weeks. Chronic cough stays for more than three weeks. You should use natural cures for cough if you want to get rid of it as soon as possible. Some of them are mentioned below:
Natural Cures For Cough:

Crush some ginger and squeeze it. Mix the juice of ginger with honey. You can have it with warm water. It will provide relief to you coughy throat.

Eucalyptus steam is one of the best natural cures for cough. Boil some water and remove it from heat. Add hand full of eucalyptus leaves or a few drops of E oil to water, cover it and steep 5 minutes or so, remove the cover. Cover your face with towel and breathe the steam.

Use a chest percussion technique to help clear the chest congestion.

Take 6 medium sized onions. Peel and chop them well. Boil some water in the pan. Put the onions and 4 tsps of honey in it and also cover the pan. Lower down the heat and place the pan on the gas for two hours. Strain the mixture and you can take a tsp after 2-3 hours.

Marshmallow tea is the best natural cure for cough relieving. Take a cup of hot water, steep 2-3 grams of dried leaves of marshmallow to it for 10 minutes. When marshmallow leaves combined with water it yields gooey mucilage that coats the throat and also thins mucus in the lungs and making it easier to cough up. If you take 2-3 cups a day it will provide you relief.
