Lose belly fat and get lean

Belly fat seems to be the one that keeps staying on, whatever you do. You might even have great arms, shoulders and legs and yet miss any look of a six-pack.

Stubborn and easy fat

Some fat is stubborn while some is easy to go. This is the reason it is easier to get rid of the fat on your arms, while the fat on your belly won’t budge.

There are different kinds of fats like essential, visceral and subcutaneous, to name a few. However, you do need a physiology lesson just now.

The abdominal fat that lies deep is very easy to get rid of. There are other two levels to the superficial abdominal fat. They are divided into lower and upper areas. It is the fat of upper area that is used for energy. This is the reason that it is easier for the top pack of four to arrive way before the six pack can come.

Do not overwork

Remember that your abs will become stronger and develop more if you give them time to recover. However, if you work too hard then they will not have time to recover. As a result, you might not get any results inspite of working so hard.

Relax

Relaxing will reduce the level of cortisol, the stress hormone. This will help to improve your overall health as well as a sense of well being.

Yoga is a great way to reduce stress levels. In addition, it will bring about a balance in your life. Yoga will help to improve your health as well as performance.

Do the right exercises

Doing crunches with a Swiss ball, or pull-ins with a low cable are good exercises to strengthen your abs. Instead of going for endless cardio sessions, go for sprint sessions.

You do have a chance

These are some ways in which you can lose some fat from your tummy and get leaner. You might have heard it often from your trainer, but it is true that sometimes you can get thinner by not doing so much.

However, it is applicable to you only if you are already working too hard. If you have hardly gotten off your butt, then you do need to go and work out.
