One’s own wedding is the most beautiful event in the life of every girl. Every woman dreams about her grand day and wants to look as beautiful as can be. However, in order to look radiant and glowing on the occasion of your wedding, you must work towards improving your facial and body skin, your hair and give attention to nails and also your hands and feet.
To look gorgeous in all those grand outfits it is imperative that you have a good figure. So, preparing to look great on the wedding day is like taking charge of your entire body and working towards a goal.
However, miraculous results do not appear overnight and you have start at least two months in advance to achieve the perfect skin, hair and body for your wedding.
About 6-8 weeks before your marriage, start with a vigorous skin care regime. You could fix an appointment with your beautician and get regular facials, pedicure and manicure done.
Starting early gives you enough time to work on problem areas of your skin such as pimples and pigmentation. However, if you have a clear complexion, it is recommended not to experiment too much with beauty treatments as some may prove adverse for your complexion.
A two month period is also ideal to detox your system so that your complexion acquires a natural glow. Quit smoking at once and limit your alcohol consumption if you indulge in these habits.
As a rule, drink 10 glasses of water daily and include as many fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet as possible. Avoid eating too much fried and junk food, sweets and ice-creams as these can end up making your skin dull. Also, start a hair care routine with regular oil massages and deep conditioning shampoo twice or thrice a week.
Try daily to cleanse moisturize and tone your skin using natural ingredients such as honey, fruit masks, yoghurt, tomato juice and such other home made products. Gentle exfoliation of the skin two times a week is recommended to remove dead cells.
At home, you can use natural products such as powdered oats mixed with milk to prepare a completely natural exfoliating mask.
Ensure you indulge in some form of physical activity such as aerobics, yoga etc for 4-5 days a week. This helps in achieving a great body and is also good for radiant looking complexion.
