Let Your Heart Do the Talking
Have you ever been concerned about your heart rate not getting up to speed with your workout? When you are doing cardiovascular exercises, the best way to get your heart rate pumping is exercises that you have to use your legs. Your rate will get to where it needs to be so that you get the best from your workout. Stick with cardio machines at the gym and make sure to change up the machines and the routine.
Are you just not seeing six pack abs from all of those sit ups that you have been doing? You need to lower your fat ratio so that your muscles will shine through. The problem is not usually with the exercises that you are doing but with not having the proper diet. As it has been said before, you need to have the proper balanced diet with protein and fats. You also need to make sure that you are doing at least 3 workouts of cardio a week in half an hour sessions. This will get things shaped up.
Many people question whether or not they should eat before or after a workout. They also wonder how far in advance they should eat and how long to wait after. The answer is simple. You need to eat before you workout to help repair torn muscles and that meal should be 1 to 2 hours before your workout. If possible, the next meal should be about half and hour afterward.
It is extremely important to remember that before, during and after your workout you should be drinking plenty of fluids. You also need to make sure that you warm up and stretch properly as well.
One last thing, if you think that lifting weights will solve all your problems of getting big all by itself, think again. You need to have a proper routine of resistance training thrown in with the weight training or you will not get the results that you are looking for. Balance out your carbs and proteins. Also, keep an eye on how your muscles are growing so that you can plan your meals and workouts accordingly.
