The dark red vegetable called beetroot is a reservoir of numerous benefits. Before explaining you about its healthy aspects, I should tell you about the ingredients you will find in it. It contains enough quantity of carbohydrates.

Here the carbohydrates remain in the form of fats. Apart from this, you will also find the contents of Sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, sulphur, iodine, chlorine, iron, vitamin B1, B2, C, P protein and fats as well.

Did you know before that the leaves of beetroot can also be eaten after cooking? Yes, like any other leafy vegetables, you can cook its leaves a bit and have them. Likewise, beetroot is cooked in different regions in different ways. However, you should use the beets as fresh as possible.

According to many dieticians, the beet is more beneficial when its consumed in the form of juice rather than as cooked food. Yes, the beet juice is one of the best vegetable juices, you can have regularly. The best part is about beet juice is that it is easily digestible and calorie content is really low.

It has been found that beetroots are very good in terms of having therapeutic value. Yes, they have the capacity to keep your kidneys and gall bladder clean. Apart from this, if you are suffering from acidosis then its juice can help in neutralizing the acidosis effect.

It is an excellent vegetable for anemic patients. It is usually believed that the red beet juice helps in forming blood, as it has ample amount of iron, which recreate and reenergize the red blood cells. It is good for your immune system as well.

Before concluding, I would like to mention about its healing capacity of chronic constipation and piles, because the cellulose in it  acts as bulk residue, while increasing  peristalsis.
