At the most, people in India could only think of some popular Indian snacks. However, time has changed and now we see innumerable options of fast food. The concept of fast food is very popular, especially among youngsters. When it is about fast food, the instant noodles come into my mind first. There is no doubt that they can really tickle your taste buds, but are they healthy?

In this article, I am planning to draw your attention to some facts and figures about these instant noodles from which you can draw your own conclusion.
Let’s begin from the ingredient from which most of these noodles are made. They are made from white refined wheat flour, not the whole wheat flour. For your kind information, refined flour is made only after removing all nutrient components from it.

These days, you will find many such noodle packets claim to have been made from whole wheat flour, which is called atta in India to woo the consumers. However, this not the complete truth, rather in practice, a little amount of whole wheat flour is mixed with refined one.

The flavor or the aroma these instant noodles contain is mouthwatering. The fact is that the flavor is due to the heavy use of sodium salt, which is not at all good for health. Especially, sodium is particularly asked to be avoided as we grow old because they can increase the blood pressure.

Apart from sodium, other chemical ingredients are also used to enhance the taste and maximize the profit. These noodles like any other processed food contain hydrogenated oils and chemicals, which can really have a negative impact upon health.

Now, it is up to you to decide whether the instant noodles packets those guarantee taste, immediate satiation can really guarantee the well being of your health?
