Important Facts about Cardio Program

First decide what your expectations and limitations are before getting into cardio.One of the things to consider when going in for a cardio exercise is your previous experience with the same. If you are new to this many factors will have to be taken into consideration.

The time taken to learn is important so initially you should stick to simple, basic exercises that you can master easily. Most people tend to be over enthusiastic and attempt exercises that are difficult the first time and this could lead to injuries.

The next step after considering prior experience is whether the person is fit or not, if so how fit? This is because though you have done a lot of cardio previously but haven’t done any exercise for the past few years, then you wouldn’t really be able to do much the first time after such a break.

So start off slow and easy to get your body accustomed to exercise and then gradually increase on your workout figuring on the amount of weight you want to lose.

Once these two factors have been determined you can proceed to figure out your workout schedule. While planning a work out, mix different type of exercises.

This is good as it uses different muscles each time you workout, reduces monotony of exercises and helps jolt muscles into activity once in a while. If you stick to one exercise throughout, your muscles get lazy.

Also once you start an exercise do it slowly initially and keep increasing it to the maximum possible. It is also important that you feel completely comfortable while exercising. Even if you have one percent discomfort stop immediately.

Keep your spirits up, let nothing discourage you. You may find that initially even walking half a mile is difficult but keep at it and you will find a change. Doing some exercise is better than not exercising at all.

There is no fast or sure fire way to lose weight as each individual is different. What works for one may not work for another. So try out different exercises to see what works for you.
