How To Treat Cellulite

Cellulite is a common problem for both men and women. It is a dimpling appearance on the skin. Cellulite occurs on the thighs and buttocks mostly. But it can also occur on other areas of the body where fat comes too close to the skin. Previously it was believed that toxins are responsible for cellulite.

Some believe obesity is the cause as fat is associated. Both the assumptions are partially correct, but weight loss does not help always. As a matter of fact cellulite is hereditary. But this does not mean that this problem does not have any cure. Thanks to modern science you do not have one but several cures for this problem.

According to many experts, body brushing is an effective way of getting rid of cellulite. They also argue that body brushing can remove cellulite entirely and at the same time helps to get rid of the toxins in the body. For this all you need is a brush with firm bristles. Use the brush to stroke your affected limbs gently. Do this twice a day. But do not apply any perfumed product after brushing. That might result in skin irritation and inflammation. It is better to wait for at least 30 minutes.

Many believe that diet can help you out of cellulite problem. This is true to some extent. But going for a crash diet and starving yourself will not get you anywhere. But then again, certain changes in the diet can definitely help. Add a good amount of fruit in your daily meals.

They have less fat and rich in vitamins and has less toxins like nicotine, caffeine etc. Along with fruits, increase your intake of water. Try to drink at least two liters of water daily. Avoid red meat and go for chicken, or better yet, fish. You might have quite the sweet tooth but decrease the amount of sugar you have. And along with all that add more food that are good source of fibers such as lentils, kidney beans etc.

Last but not the least is work out. Exercise will help you to burn the extra pounds and keep your body in great shape. And this will make cellulite less visible. Tryout these simple tips and stay fit and fine always.
