How to Lose Fat and Gain Muscle
It sounds like it is impossible but you can lose fat and build muscle. You can become muscular and lean if you exercise at least three times a week. You need adequate recovery between workouts and proper nutrition to lose fat and gain muscle.
On your days off from your workout do some aerobic activities that will help you lose more fat. On your workout days, do resistance training with weights.
Follow a planned daily nutritious diet plan. Eat a wide variety of allowed food so you do not become bored. Eat six meals a day. That means eating around every three hours. Food is better absorbed by digestion this way. If you have trouble, getting meals in at work try protein bars or shakes
Bodybuilders need to eat more protein. They usually divide their diet into 40 percent protein, 20 percent fat, and 40 percent carbohydrates. Hard workouts need more protein.
Protein helps muscles to recover from your workout. It helps damaged muscle fibers grow. You can gain more protein with a supplement if you cannot get enough in your diet alone. One rule of thumb is to take a protein source 30 minutes before your workout.
If you need to lose weight, fat loss pill supplements are an option. So is reducing your caloric intake and sticking to a low fat diet.
Some bodybuilders use a creatinine supplement. It is supposed to help you gain greater muscle strength. Supplement of omega fatty acids can be used to get the “good fat” in your diet.
If you are a beginner and do not belong to a gym, start with free weights at home. It is a good investment if you are serious about bodybuilding. For the quickest results use compound exercises.
Compound exercises work multiple joints and muscles at the same time. They save time and deliver faster muscle gains. Some of these exercises include chin-ups, pull-ups, pull downs, bench press, lunges, squats, push-ups, and dumbbell rows. These are just a few.
With the proper diet, exercise, and rest program, you can lose fat and gain a muscular physique.
