How to Decrease Body Fat
Everybody wishes to have a lean and firm body. This is the main reason for cutting down on their favorite desserts and puddings. Health clubs, aerobic classes, gymnasiums…etc are doing good business because of this desire to keep the body fit and slim. If you thought that hitting the gym for 10 hours in a day could change your body, then you are mistaken. To be fit, you need to make some changes in your lifestyle. You also need to adopt some new habits. So, let us have a look at some of the tips how you can lose your body weight:
Tips on how to lose your body weight:
• Always maintain a gap of 2-3 hours when you have two consecutive meals. Try to have 5-6 small meals instead of having 3 large meals a day. This would help you to speed up your metabolism thereby burning off more calories.
• It is advisable to consume 8 glasses of water per day that would help to increase your water consumption. Water helps a lot in keeping your figure in shape.
• Always stay away from oily foods. These foods contain lot of fats that you should avoid. You should also avoid going to fast food outlets and restaurants.
• If you thought that skipping meals would help you to lose weight, then you are wrong. It would help to make your metabolism much slower. So never try to skip meals.
• Go for weight training programs that would help you in increasing the lean muscle mass.
• Try to go for low intensity aerobic exercise, for example stationery biking, for at least 30 minutes. You can do this for 3-4 times in a week.
• Make sure that you have a proper diet. It should be a balanced one and include 65-70% carbohydrates, 15-20% proteins and 10-15% fats.
• Make it a point to avoid unhealthy foods when you feel hungry in-between meals. You should always try to eat healthy snacks like puffed rice, fruits…etc. You should also try to keep them handy so that you can snack on them when you are hungry.
• Avoid the temptation to join others when they are indulging in unhealthy snacks. It is hard to resist this temptation so you should keep yourself busy to distract yourself at such times.
• Chew your foods slowly and properly.
• Try to get some negative-calorie foods.
• Avoid aerated drinks. They are full of sugar and empty calories. The best beverage to have is water. If you need something else, chose fruit or vegetable juices or milk.
