You are beautiful just the way you are, but if you think you have a few extra pounds that you wish to get rid of, do not jump to crash diets. That will make you thinner but at the cost of making your body suffer. Why torture yourself when there are best ways of burning fat.

The first rule of burning fat is breaking a sweat and the way to do it is to work out. Do not have time to go for a morning walk or hit the gym? No worries. Just do the chores. Anything that will make you get off the couch and move around, and make your muscles move. You can also do some fun outdoor activity that will not only help you lose weight, but at the same time guarantee a good time with family and friends.

Along with workout comes proper diet. This means you will have to be careful about what you put in your mouth. Healthy eating will help you lead a healthy life. If you are a fast food junky, this is the time you changed your eating habits and chose something healthier to eat.

Replace all that junk food with fruits, vegetables, dairy and whole grain cookies and breads. Try to eat more of homemade food. Deep fried foods are a big NO. While you are at it, do not forget to have a good amount of protein. Make sure your meal contains some protein, but not too much.

Carbohydrate is important. Unfortunately many of us tend to eat too much of it. Reduce the amount of carb and starch, but do not give them up entirely. Go for a healthier source such as yams, oat meal cookies etc.

When it comes to weight loss, many tend to give up on dairy. You can avoid excess cheese but make sure you have a glass of milk every day. To be on the safe side, drink skimmed milk.

Last but not the least; drink a glass of Lemon water after lunch or dinner. This will help to burn the fat, but make sure you do not drink that on empty stomach.
