How to Build Biceps
All boys have a desire to flaunt strong, big and bulging biceps as possessing such biceps is seen as a mark of machismo. Biceps are one of the smaller muscle groups in the body which form about one-third of the total muscle in one’s arm. As against the popular belief, exercise alone does not lead to the growth of strong biceps. It only helps in stimulating the muscles to grow and to possess flaunting muscles, one requires proper nutrition along with exercise to yield any desired effect.
Weightlifting and grasping dumbbell in the hands are exercises which are usually followed to gain strong and b if biceps. While exercising one should focus on one’s shoulder and back muscles also. While lifting weights, one should ensure to keep one’s back straight and shoulders relaxed. However, one should not concentrate only on bicep curls and should include exercises in one’s workout which involve other muscles of the body too. This is because the hormone testosterone plays an important role in the building up of biceps and the production of this hormone can be stimulated by exercising bigger muscle groups along with smaller ones. Since biceps form small muscle groups in the body, one needs workout of other bigger muscles to increase the production of testosterone which can aid in bicep production. In a craze to attain immediate result, one should not overstrain oneself as that can lead to muscle tear and injuries. Allowing five to seven days between bicep workouts allows the muscles to rest, recover and grow.
Along with proper workout, one needs proper diet to attain the desired effect. One should eat a well balanced diet with lots of protein as that helps in the building up of body. Moreover, one should also take carbohydrates as they cover the energy demands of the body. By following proper exercising regime and healthy eating habits, one can attain biceps which are not only big but also healthy.
