How one should eat foods with more anti oxidants

antioxidantsfoodHere are some foods with lot of anti oxidants which can be used within house hold staples.

Fruits, Beans, Potatoes, Nuts, Tea

Pomegranate, red guava, grapes (and wines too…), sweet cherries, apples and you can use plums also. Kidney, Pinto, black and red beans are rich in anti-oxidants.

With that you also can use Russet potatoes. Pecans, hazelnuts and walnuts are the nuts you can use for getting anti-oxidants. Black and green tea is also the good options in the tea section.

You should add these vegetables in your diet, not just to get your health up, but also to add taste to your food. Red tomatoes are a very good source of anti aging anti-oxidant lycopene.

The Lycopene contained by the tomatoes can be absorbed very easily in the body when they are cooked and you also can mix extra virgin oil which will help the body to absorb it better. With the red tomatoes, you can also use carrots, radishes, broccoli, red bell papers, zucchini and artichokes in your anti-oxidant diet.

Use more berries

Acai berry is one of the foods which are rich in anti-oxidants. But, it is not necessary for you to become that much exotic. Blackberry, blueberry and cranberry are also an excellent source of anti-oxidants.

Spice up the life

You will be surprised to know that the herbs and spices are very much full of anti-oxidants. Some spices even beat rich anti-oxidant fruits in content! In your next dinner add Oregano, cumin, marjoram, rosemary, dill, ginger, tarragon, thyme and some amount of sage.

Oh yes, you can use garlic too. Always use fresh garlic, it has one & half times more power than the dried range. Peppermint and cinnamon also have excellent amount of anti-oxidants.

The Chocolates

The darker the chocolate, the better it is. Cocoa is the one with super force of anti-oxidants. It has anti-oxidants three times the amount of green tea and two times the amount of red wine.

Always eat dark chocolates. These dark chocolates keep the skin hydrated and protect it from any kind of sun damage.

You can rate the chocolate with the highest mark which contains a high amount of flavanol content and with 60 percent of cacao.
