How Does The Metabolism Turn Skinny to Rippling Muscles
It seems that the reason that hard gainers have trouble gaining muscle is because they do not know how their metabolism works. Attaining muscle when you are skinny involves a lot of factors.
The skinny hard gainer needs to learn why their metabolism inhibits muscle growth. A skinny guy or gal has a higher metabolism but it is possible to gain a muscular physique.
Your metabolism is the rate at which you burn the food that you eat. Hard gainers have high metabolisms. The fast metabolism of a hard gainer is enough to keep them gaining muscle.
Plain and simple the skinny guy or gal who wants to become buff needs to eat a lot of calories. You need to eat 4000 calories or more a day packed into six meals a day. Stay away from junk food though. Eat a lot of healthy foods.
Divide your diet into 40 percent protein, 40 percent carbohydrates, and 20 percent fat. Eat one or more of each of these at each meal. You need to eat 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight.
Hard gainers should skip any aerobic activity for a while because you do not want to burn more calories. For protein, you should eat fish, eggs, lean meats, and poultry.
For carbohydrates, you need to eat pasta, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If you do not have time to fit six meals a day, drink a shake for weight gainers. Eat mono-saturated fats.
Peanut butter is a good food for hard gainers as it has carbs and protein. It is easy to make a couple of peanut butter sandwiches and add a vegetable and a fruit to a meal. Be creative so you do not get bored.
Drink 2 percent or whole milk. It may have a higher fat content but you need the calories. Always drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
Hard gainers need to work out hard with heavy weights. Workout at least three times a week so your body has time to rest and grow muscles in between workouts. Keep up this routine and you will reach your goals.
