Home remedies For Insomnia

Insomnia is an irregularity in sleeping functions of a person. People having this problem have difficulty in having sound sleep. The person facing this particular problem can’t able to sleep well at night. Generally, adults need7-9 hours sleep at night but insomnia affected people can’t able to get proper sleep. Insomnia, a sleeping disorder is common in North America and Europe. Sleep is a periodic state of rest for the body, which is important for the functioning of the body. It relieves from tension or worries but if a person not having proper sleep he feels stressful and unhealthy as well. Person can get relax with some home remedies for insomnia that are mentioned below.
Home Remedy For Insomnia:

• Many yoga asana can help the affected person to get rid of the particular problem. Shirasana, sarvangasana, paschimottanasana, uttanasans and shavasana are some of the best asana that can help the patient having insomnia.
• Drink a cup of warm milk before going to sleep.
• Have a warm bath before bed time as it will help you to be calm and help to have sound sleep.
• Dip your foot in hot water for 20 minutes as it will help you to relax.
• Avoid alcohol at bed time. Don’t fit a so called nightcap to relax you before bed. The reason behind this is alcohol can depress your central nervous system and can disturb your sleep.
• Eat light food before sleep you can choose any light snack as fruit, juice, milk or bread as your dinner.
• Your bed should be comfortable. Always take care about your bed as your sleep is associated with your bed if your bed will not comfortable you can’t get comfortable and sound sleep.
• Keep the atmosphere of your room lovely. You can use rose smelled room fresher or rose petals in your room.
• Lettuce is good option for insomnia. It contains a substance lectucarium that is helpful for good sleep. You can also drink the juice of it. Boil a 1 tsp of lettuce seeds in ½ liter of water and heat until left 1/3 of water. This drink will help to get healthy sleep.
• Honey is the best home remedy for insomnia. Drink 2 tsp of honey with water before going to sleep and sleep soundly.
