Healthy Green Soup-Healthy And Delicious
Soups are healthy. Especially, the green soup is incredible for health and in taste as well. Many of us think that soups should be taken as starter or an additional item, but not as wholesome full course meal. Here in this article, I would talk about how to make a healthy green soup, which can be both served as starter and as full course meal as well.
The ingredients you need for the green soup is some spinach (500 gram), 2 tomatoes, some green vegetables, whatever you have in stock. Carrot, broccoli, squash, sweet potato, leeks, potato or any kind of vegetable of your choice will do. Take vegetables more the amount of spinach. You can also take two to three onions. If you are like people, who are not that fond of onion then you can exclude it as well.
If you want the soup, which is not very thick then wash the vegetable stock properly and chop them nicely.
Now, boil the stock till it simmers. Afterwards, you can put the chopped spinach and onion into the stock. Let it get cooked for another ten minutes. Once, all the green veggies get blended well then you can serve it hot.
Suppose, you want the same soup, but a bit thicker then you can add a handful of cous-cous into the already cooked and blended green soup. Leave it for five minutes and you will get the thick texture.
As I have already mentioned that you can have soup as your main course filling meal, so you can add a handful of rice or pasta into the blend and cook it for another 10-15 minutes. It is really going to be delicious, healthy and filling as well. Try it and see its impact upon your health and mind as well.
