Eggs are a good source of protein. For those who are careful about cholesterol levels – avoid the yolk of the egg.
Dairy products are the main source of calcium. Calcium is necessary for all ages.
Deficiency of calcium causes various diseases. For those who do not relish milk, other dairy products like yogurt and butter are available to provide the needed calcium.
Spinach is a rich source of iron and is good for the eyesight. Bananas are good and aid in digestion.
They are a rich source of potassium. Bananas can be combined with various foods like oats, yogurt etc. Apples reduce fat absorption and reduce the aging process. It is good for those who are anemic.
Cowberries contain plenty of organic acids, vitamin C, pro vitamin A, and Vitamin B in its various forms, besides other healthy nutrients. It is said to counteract urinary tract infections. It is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
