Hair Vitamins


Our body is completely dependent on the various minerals and vitamins for healthy and fast growth. Every organ has its specific requirement to perform its function.  Similarly, insufficiency of vitamin A, B3, B6, B4, Folic Acid, minerals like iron, calcium and magnesium, sodium and potassium, vitamin E & F etc is related with the problem of hair such as dryness of hair, falling of hair, white hair etc. It shows that we should consume food rich in nutrients.

Vitamin A is particularly essential for hair and skin. It is present in plenty of green vegetables & yellow color fruits, cereals, beans and pears. To control and prevent the problem of hair, few nutrients like iron, minerals and variety of vitamins should be consumed as much as possible available in seasonal fruits & vegetables. Regular consumption of such fruits and vegetables strengthens hair and prevent from the ailments.  Vitamins and minerals support each other. For example, Vitamin D helps in proper absorption of calcium & phosphorous. Adequate amounts of these nutrients are also an accountable factor.

Regular intake of sufficient quantity is usually missed out leading to a deficiency.  Deficiency results in weak hairs, falling, whitening of hair, split ends, luster less growth.   Intake of food rich in iron, iron phosphate, calcium, magnesium, sodium & potassium not only relieves the problem but also helpful in solving the problem of digestion and anemia.

Anemia is caused due to the deficiency of Red Blood Cells in body as it reduces the supply of oxygen to tissues. Anemia leads to many hair problems. Food specifically rich in iron is the cure of anemia. Iron and folic acid rich food can solve the problem. Green vegetables, fresh fruits, salad, milk, curd & butter can fulfill the requirement.
Proteins such as amino acids, hydrolyzed proteins, keratin etc is good for the hair shaft.
Milk is good for split ends or damaged hair.
