Get Motivated for Aerobics
You know that you need to start participating in aerobic exercises but you just don’t have the motivation. Believe it or not, by just looking at photos of physically fit people, you will gain the motivation to get in shape. While this may sound odd, it is the truth. Think about the motivational photos of people climbing mountains with the word “Excellence” under the photo. So get yourself motivated by buying a fitness magazine or a poster and look at the photos daily.
In this article, the manager of Little Booty Gym has motivational images posted all over their fitness facility. The manager has observed the gym’s clients as they look at the pictures and pump up their work outs. Most people dread going to the gym and exercising. Their aversion is similar to when it is time to go to the dentist. But once the members see motivational photos, their attitude changes and their workouts become more purposeful and intense. It’s as if the photos give them an extra boost of energy and confidence. They use these photos to help them set goals and reach their end results. Their workouts become more intense and thorough. And they walk out of the gym feeling better about themselves.
The manager of Little Booty Gym replaced their original motivational photos with aerobic style motivational photos. Even if someone is at the gym and not exercising, when they look at the photos they begin their workout with excitement and strive to replicate the images that they see. The images make them want to try a little harder, complete each repetition and put more effort into their total workout. There may be other photos out there that are more appealing to look at but they do not produce the same results as those photos that show aerobic activity. And as the saying goes, “if it works, stick with it.”
