Gardening Can Keep You Fit
Many of us feel lazy to do exercises or go for walking or going to a gym. It happens with me. At the same time, I know that doing exercise is also very important to keep myself fit. During conversation, my family physician told me about this idea of giving sometime regularly for gardening. Gardening is beneficial for health, as it makes you sweat and at the same time it is beneficial for your house as well.
Let me tell you that gardening involves all kind of works like planting, watering, taking care of yard, raking up leaves, lawn care, and creating a vegetable garden as well. Yes, all these works not only make you sweat but also keep your mental health sound and active as well.
Many researches have also proven that gardening activities like planting veggies, plucking them up, moving the lawn or watering all the plants are no less than doing exercise in aerobic class.
Here in the following, I will give you some tips, which can help you maximize the benefits of gardening and giving you a good health and enjoyable life.
When you are involved in gardening, try to use your creativity in beautifying your garden and have fun while you are working. Gardening is a good exercise for both mind and body. Unlike in any gym or aerobic class, you do exercise for each and every part of your body, here your whole body works at the same time.
Once in a week try to clear the bush around your garden and stacking wood, as it is equivalent to workout in an aerobic class. If you do gardening regularly for half an hour to one hour then you have done your bit of exercise for the day. In long term, it not only gives you result in terms of shedding weight, but mental satisfaction as well.
