Feet are the most neglecting part of the body. As they are important so, it should be pamper and need to be exercised daily. Exercises benefit everyone regardless of age. Exercise can help you to take charge of your health and maintain the level of fitness that is necessary for an active and independent lifestyle. The best exercise for your feet is walking barefoot on green grass but you can practice some more exercises to strengthen your feet. Some of the beneficial foot exercises are mentioned below:
Marble pick up- Place about 20 marbles on the floor. Now, try to pick those marble with the help of fingers of your feet. It will helpful to provide flexibility to your feet and also strengthen your feet.
Cycling- Cycling is the best exercise to strengthen the muscles of your feet. All the muscles of feet work when you practice cycling so it is also helpful in maintaining the blood circulation of feet.
Toe pulls-Take a thick rubber band. Put it around your toes. Now, try to stretch the foot fingers as far as you can. Hold the position and back to starting position. You can repeat the process for about 10 times. Don’t try to do the exercise in case of having any hurt on the fingers and toe.
Ankle stretch-Sit and keep your leg stretched out in front of you. Point your foot down and bring it towards as far as you can. Hold the position for few seconds. Slowly come to the starting position, repeat the process as per your capacity.
Toe raises and toe curls- Try to curl the fingers of your feet and also raise the heels of feet. Hold the position for about 5 seconds and repeat the process as per your capacity.
Foot Stretch- Sit in floor and keep your feet in front of you. Now, loop a towel around your feet. While keeping your heels on the floor, pull the towel with both ends. Use the towel to draw the middle foot and toes towards the body. Hold the position. Slowly come back to the starting position. Repeat the exercise 5-6 times. This is an effective exercise for strengthening the muscles of feet.
