Fat-Burners That Build Mass

There are some well known supplements that help in burning fats and also increase the over all body mass. For example, caffeine is a very popular drug and is known for its ability to increase fat loss. In fact, it is impossible to find an effective fat-burner supplement that does not contain caffeine. Caffeine helps fat loss as it binds to the fat cells facilitating the removal and inhibiting its storage. It also helps in burning of extra fat during workouts.

Some of the researchers found that men who consumed supplement containing around 200 mg of caffeine before exercising increased their one repetition maximum (1RM) by around 5 pounds. A previous study also found that caffeine enhanced men’s 8RM. Moreover, researchers from the Georgia University found that when participants consumed caffeine one hour before heavy cycling workout that usually gave heavy pain in thighs previously, complained considerably less pain. This has proved that caffeine can enhance the muscle strength, as well as the endurance to more repetitions in any kind of workout. In the long run, this causes larger muscle growth. About 200 to 400 mg of caffeine can be taken around 30 to 60 minutes before exercises.

Carnitine is another well-known and preferred fat burner of bodybuilders for many years. It augments fat burning and transporting fat into the mitochondria of muscle cells, and there it is burned for fuel. It is not only a fat-burning supplement but is proved to be a powerful anabolic supplement also. It was found that participant consuming carnitine were able to recover in good health from weight training. They were also found to have elevated levels of androgen receptors in their muscle cells. These receptors help muscle growth by binding with testosterone, thus, increasing the growth potential. About 1.5 to 3 grams of carnitine can be taken before workouts or immediately after workouts or at bedtime.
