Facial Yoga: To Fight Wrinkles Naturally

Over the ages people have been worried about the aging on their faces and have opted for various treatments and exercises. Facial yoga is, however, the best natural exercise to fight wrinkles of the face. It comprises of various toning and strengthening exercises for the facial muscles.

Rolling the tongue so as to make vibrating sounds and extra yawning to free the muscles of the jaws are some of the exercises involved in facial exercises. Laughing loudly and blowing kisses are also facial yoga exercises. Relaxation of the face is one of the most important parts of yoga exercise, as it is the face that indicates tension for the whole body.

An exercise that helps enhance the blood circulation, relive anxiety as well as stress and leads to muscle relaxation is the most important exercise in yoga.

Some of the yoga exercises to try:

Lion face: Slowly inhale and squeeze each and every muscle of the body from head to toe. Relax those muscles when you exhale slowly. While exhaling, stick out your tongue and widely open your hands and eyes. Repeat this about three times. On the last repetition, hold on to the exhale position for 30 to 60 seconds and stretch your tongue to the maximum. By doing this, one will improve the blood circulation of the face and it is a good way to free the tension in the jaws, as it leads to wrinkles.

Inversion: Stand in a position with your legs wide apart and the toes slightly inwards. Now bend forward till the top of your head touches the floor. Rest the thumbs on the chin and the fingers near the cheeks. This inversion exercise is good for a healthy complexion as it raises the blood pressure in the head and in turn, the body reacts by lowering your blood pressure level. The heart beats slow sown and the blood vessels relax.

Brow smoother: This exercise helps in smoothing the eyebrows. Just place the tip your index finger on the end of the eyebrows, and slowly stretch them apart from each other. Keep your eyes closed.

The yoga exercises for the face help in marinating an emotional and physiological balance, as well as keep the mind calm and relaxed. These exercises should be performed by any one in the age group of 16 to 60 years.
