Threading is a method of hair removal which has been used since many years. It was practiced in Middle East and Far East. Presently, it’s gaining popularity all over the world especially in western countries. This method is also known by the ‘fatlah’ or ‘khite’, an Arabic terminology meaning threading. In Arabic countries, it is popular among both; men and women equally.

Eyebrow threading has beautiful and positive outcomes. The result involves clean and straight lines offering balanced facial features. It is a favorite method of removing hair for number of reasons. It is done by twisting a thread to pull the unwanted row of hairs.

It is a Chinese technique in which, the eyelid is stretched to make the removal of hair easy. Eyebrow threading involves using a piece of thread, usually cotton, into a double strand. Eyebrow threading can be used to eliminate a brow, raise the arch of the eyebrow, or add shape and definition to the brow. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique.

Unlike waxing, eyebrow threading will not harm the skin. It is also safe since it does not use any depilatory creams that contain harmful chemicals. If done correctly and smoothly, the skin remains no red or irritated for more than a few minutes after every eyebrow threading session.

You can’t thread your eyebrows yourself and if you do, it will probably look messed up, because it will be crooked or not the same on both sides and you have to wrap a little bit of thread around your eyebrows and pull. That is the reason, threading session involves the beautician to make a loop with a thread and then twirl it 2-3 times. Beautician holds one end of the cotton thread in his or her teeth and the other in his or her hand when it applied with light pressure on the area of unwanted hair growth, it removes hair efficiently.

Eyebrow threading is the best way to remove hairs and shape your eyebrows. The other benefit of eyebrow threading is it doesn’t contain any allergic reaction such as rashes or itching as no chemical is used for the process. It is very good technique for the people who have sensitive skin. Person whose superficial layer of skin is not damaged can also use this process for removal of hairs. Threading is highly recommended and an excellent option for those who use Retin-A, Accutane.
