Exercise To Strengthen Eyes

Eye strengthening exercises are promoted to as a way to improve your eyesight. No proper results are found it can cure the farsightedness and nearsightedness exactly but some of the people find it cure their problem. It is also helpful to relieve eye-strain. Try following yoga exercise to strengthen your eyes.
• Sit straight on the chair. Close your eyes and put the palms of your hands on both of the eyes it should be done as you are warming your eyes.

• Remove the hands over your eyes but keep your eyes closed. Inhale deeply through nose and exhale and let your head drop forward. After this rotate it from side to side. With your shoulder make circles by moving forward and backward in circular motions.

• While keeping your eyes closed tightly stretch your shoulders as much as you can. Hold it for few seconds and then exhale, Release your shoulders and open your eyes. Retry these steps several times.

• Blink and flutter your eyes again and again until your eyes became moist. Retry the process several times.

• Now, breathe easily. See the far object for one or two minutes. Try to focus on object. Again blink your eyelids rapidly. After that try to focus the nearer object for 30 seconds. Maintain the focus and blink rapidly the eyes.

This exercise is designed to help counteract to tendency of squint. Another eye-strengthening exercise is mentioned below that helps extrinsic muscles that move the eyes.

• Keep your head straight in the line with your spine.

• Roll your eyes in upwards, downwards, up to left and to right, to left at 45 angles, to right at the angle of 45 degree, down left at the angle of 45 degree and down right to the angle of 45 degree while exhaling.
• Hold the position for some seconds and return the eyes at center inhale along this.

• Again keep your head straight and try to focus on an object. Now, exhale and look side to side without moving your head.

• Exhale and turn your head side to side several times. Let your follow the movement of your head.

• Cover your eyes with your palms to warm up. After few seconds remove your hands from eyes.
