Egg Diet

The Egg Diet is a diet rich in protein, but low in carbohydrates. The diet is a modification of the Atkins diet but it includes eating somewhat more eggs.

In the diet, there is an unrestricted intake of protein rich foods like eggs, cheese, and meat. Chicken eggs are the most popularly consumed eggs. They contain all essential amino acids for humans and supply numerous vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin A, riboflavin, chlorine, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12,

They are an easy to cook, economical, rich source of protein. The fat content or the calorie count is not accounted. Unlimited vegetables can be eaten, provided they are not sweet or starchy. Plenty of salads with unrestricted favorite dressing are allowed. There are some items, such as baked potato, all varieties of breads, sweets, pasta, carbohydrate rich or starchy foods are restricted. All kind of processed food is also not allowed because they contain plenty of carbohydrates.

It has been found that the egg diet helps in weight loss. Some individuals have successfully achieved their desired weight lost by pursuing the Egg Diet. However, besides achievement there are some grave exceptional health issues related to this high protein diets. Some of the professional health experts as well as weight loss experts are not in favor of approving and recommending the high protein low carbohydrates diets. This is so because the benefits are little and risks are complex and serious.

None of the weight loss diets are perfect to lose weight. Although all weight loss diets help us lose weight and inform us about healthy weight control but exercise or any kind of physical activity is extremely important and should be followed with any kind of weight loss programs. It is vital that you manage some time in a day for an aerobic workout.
