Eat Your Way to a Beautiful You with These Powerful Foods
Everyone tells you eat right and exercise to be healthy and fit. What they don’t tell you is that certain foods can promote beautiful skin and shiny hair. These foods can give you confidence in yourself once again.
Daily Dose of Antioxidants
Foods rich in antioxidants such as tomatoes, spinach, blueberries and kiwi are excellent for healthy and beautiful skin. They help to stop premature aging and keep your skin looking young. So, add a few blueberries to your cereal or have a spinach salad with tomatoes. Make your skin glow.
Eat your Omega-3’s
Salmon and walnuts are great sources for those omega-3 fatty acids. Since most of us don’t drink the proverbial 8 glasses of water a day, these foods will provide moisture to your skin. This aids in keeping your skin smooth and supple. Have salmon for dinner and start your way to great touchable you. Don’t forget to throw in some sweet potatoes for beta-carotene. This is another anti-aging food.
Make Your Body Strong
We all want to have soft shiny hair, a gorgeous smile and younger looking hands. Dive into some oysters and find your pearl. Or, enjoy a cup of yogurt for your breakfast with some fruit or granola. These promote strong bones and teeth, nails and even help with your posture. The next time you see someone slouching, tell them to add some yogurt to their daily diet.
Don’t leave out Dessert
Be sure to treat yourself and have a piece of dark chocolate. Contrary to popular belief, it does not cause acne breakouts. It does however help to keep your skin hydrated and also protect you from dreadful skin damage. Make sure that your chocolate has plenty of cacao in the ingredients and is high in flavanol.
By adding just a few of these foods a day to your daily diet will help you to stay healthy and strong not to mention young and beautiful. We invest in moisturizers and magical creams every day. Instead, invest in your body and treat it right. As they say, you are what you eat.
